1st Batch of Students Joining
June 2022
The long-awaited dream of Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod became a reality. The new 60 students arrived. Dr. Jeyarani (Principal) introduced the B.Sc. Nursing programme. Sr. Felsi (Secretary) spoke on anti-ragging. Sr. Gracy (Hostel Warden) explained hostel rules.
Inauguration Ceremony

Inaugural function for the 1st batch of B.Sc.(Nursing) was initiated on 25th January. The Programme began with an invocation. Felicitation by Sr. Pushpa, Sr. Vasantha, and Sr. Jacqueline elaborated about the role of nurses and their importance in healthcare.
Republic Day 2022

We celebrated the 73rd Republic Day. Sr. Manohari was the chief guest. Flag hoisting was followed by a motivational speech. Competitions like rangoli, poster presentation and relay were conducted.
Student Nurses' Association (SNA) Election

The election of the SNA office bearers was held. SNA adviser Mrs. Sophia Mary Stella. Office bearers: Vice President Ms. Hemalatha, Secretary Ms. Thirisha, Treasurer Ms. Gayathri devi.
World Sick Day
February 11, 2022
Claudine College observed ‘World Day of the Sick 2022’. DGNM students performed a skit on the Good Samaritan. BSc nursing students greeted every patient with a bouquet and wished them speedy recovery.
Talent's Day

Talents Day was celebrated. Prof. Dr. Jeyarani Premkumar said, "Everyone has a unique talent. Today is the day to embrace those abilities." Students performed different forms of dance, songs, mime, and plays.
Organ Donation Day
March 4, 2022
Rotary Club Batlagundu, Leonard Hospital, and Claudine College of Nursing arranged an exhibition on organ donation. Nurses play a very important role to counsel relatives of patients. Many stalls explained the importance of different organs and cadaver donation.
International Women's Day

Celebrated with DEEPAM trust. A rally from Leonard Hospital to ATSS Mahal. Dr. M. Ramachandran highlighted the importance of Women's Day. Dr. Parimala Devi, Dr. Jeyarani Premkumar emphasized psychological health of women. Dance performance by nursing students.
World Tuberculosis Day

Awareness teaching by Sr. Arputha Mary, Vice Principal. Theme: "Invest to End Save Lives". District level quiz and essay competition: Our students won 2nd prize in quiz and 3rd prize in essay writing.
World Health Day

Theme: "Our Planet, Our Health". 80 saplings were planted in our college campus by the students.
Lamp Lighting Ceremony

The Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony of the 26th batch of GNM and 1st batch of B.Sc Nursing was held. Chief guest: Rev. Sr. Fatima Kattar, Provincial Superior. Oath administered by Sr. Shiny Choorakatil.
International Nurses' Day

Theme: "A Voice to Lead - Invest in Nursing". Chief guests included Sr. Shiny Choorakatil, Ms. Rachel Stephen, Ms. Krishnaveni. Competitions: face painting, hair decoration, fashion show, solo/group songs, solo/group dance, quiz.
Breastfeeding Week Program

Theme: "Step up for breastfeeding" educate and support. DGNM 3rd-year students performed a role play on breastfeeding techniques, health talk with models, and a mime to create awareness.
75th Independence Day & 1st Sports Day

Independence Day celebrated with march past, flag hoisting, patriotic dance. 1st Sports Day with 4 houses: Leonard, Claudine, Mermier, Nightingale. Events: javelin throw, relay, shotput, tug of war, kho-kho, carrom, chess.
1st College Day

Celebrated 1st College Day. Chief guest: Rev. Fr. Antony Paulsamy. Batch names: Jacinth (BSc 1st), Jasper (DGNM 1st), Pearl (DGNM 2nd), Ruby (DGNM 3rd). Cultural activities and sports championships.
Teachers' Day
September 5, 2022
Students expressed gratitude to teachers. Each faculty was given a gift and a rose plant. Mr. Manoharan (English teacher) gave a meaningful talk. Games and dance performances by students.
Nutrition Day Celebration

Topics: Renal, PCOD, Iron, Diabetes, Hypertension diet. Students prepared charts, flashcards, models, dishes. Health talks given in various OPDs and wards of Leonard Hospital.
NSS Day

Celebrated International NSS Day in adopted village Kannapatti. Activities: village cleaning, awareness on open defecation, waste disposal management, rain water harvesting, first aid.
Picnic to Black Thunder
October 1, 2022
The most awaited day - college picnic to Black Thunder, Mettupalayam. Students enjoyed wet and dry games. It strengthened the bond between students and teachers.
Cooking Demonstration
October 29, 2022
BSc 1st & DGNM 1st year students prepared therapeutic meals: Renal diet, Hypertension diet, Iron Rich diet, Diabetic diet. Displayed charts on nutrition. Judged by Principal Dr. Jeyarani Premkumar.
Freshers' Day
October/November 2022
Jacinth batch welcomed juniors with rose, specs, file, notepad. Cultural performances, games, self-introduction by freshers. Principal spoke about anti-ragging cell.
Christmas Celebration

The SNA organized Christmas celebration. Prayer service, carols, nativity scene, dances. Santa Claus arrival with flash mob. Message by Fr. Paul Raj.
