Celebrating the journey of Claudine College of Nursing since its inception
The year 2024 marked significant achievements for Claudine College of Nursing. The newly constructed college hostel was blessed by Archbishop Most Rev. Antony Pappusamy, providing a home away from home for our students.
International Nurses' Day was celebrated with the theme "Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care," featuring poetry, elocution, and poster competitions. Women's Day focused on HPV vaccine awareness, while World TB Day and Hypertension Day brought health awareness to the community.
Students participated in national level competitions at CMC Vellore, winning prizes in hairdressing, javelin throw, extempore, and group singing.
2023 was a vibrant year filled with cultural festivities and academic achievements. The year began with Pongal celebrations, followed by the solemn Lamp Lighting and Graduation Ceremony for new nursing students.
Students celebrated Republic Day, International Women's Day, World Health Day, and Nurses' Day with great enthusiasm. The first-ever staff picnic to Rameswaram and a student picnic to Wonderla Kochi created lasting memories.
Our students excelled at zonal and state-level SNA competitions, bringing laurels to the institution. The year ended with a joyful Christmas celebration.
The year 2022 marked the birth of Claudine College of Nursing. The first batch of 60 B.Sc. Nursing students joined, and the college was officially inaugurated on 25th January.
The Lamp Lighting Ceremony welcomed students into the nursing profession. The 1st College Day and 1st Sports Day were celebrated with great fervor. Students participated in Organ Donation Day, World TB Day, Nutrition Day, and NSS activities.
The year also saw the establishment of the Student Nurses' Association (SNA), a picnic to Black Thunder, and a grand Christmas celebration.
On 21st December 2021, the newly constructed college of nursing building was inaugurated and blessed by Most Rev. Antony Pappusamy, Arch Bishop of Madurai.
The ceremony began with a prayer, ribbon cutting, and foundation stone blessing by Rev. Sr. Fatima Kattar, Provincial Superior of the Madurai Province. A Thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration and felicitation programme followed.
This marked the birth of Claudine College of Nursing, fulfilling the long-awaited dream of the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod.
